Hand Washing Stations to combat COVID-19
COAH Kenya collaborated with AMBIRA Sub County Hospital to fund and build portable hand washing stations during the COVID-19 pandemic. We distributed masks and displayed educational posters linking COVID-19 to sexual and reproductive health services.
Sanitary Products Drive for girls in the community
COAH Kenya funded a reusable sanitary products drive, “Pad a Girl Initiative”, in March 2021. This event provided sexual health education and distributed reusable sanitary pads to adolescents at Ulwani Primary and Nyasanda Secondary schools in Kenya.
